Was over here the other week and the food was absolutely fantastic. They have many options to choose from, but I chose the falafel wrap. It was full of so much flavor and so good. The seasoning they have on their chips as well was fantastic. My daughter and husband also enjoyed their gyros. The staff was also very accommodating and friendly. You need to stop by here for your next lunch!

Sometimes just keeping it simple is the key to success. MacTassos has been serving up top tier gyros for years and it never gets old. Often imitated but rarely bettered. Served with an authentic smile the quality and portion size is unbelievable value and genuinely delicious. One of my favourite eats in the city. Megalos!!

We absolutely loved our pitas from this wonderful place today! Both of us ordered the pork pita, and the balance of flavors was wonderful! These things are a full meal with layered levels of flavor. The tzatziki sauce was particularly on point... But really everything was! They put a bit of extra seasoning on top just before either handing it to you, or putting it in a bag, the choice is yours. By the way, I advise getting it bagged. That way, you can rip open the top a little at a time and eat it with a fork :-) The pita becomes an edible plate. Prices were very reasonable with each Peter wrap coming in at 6.50 with water at 1.40. The food was super fresh and very well-made. But beyond that, the service was friendly and we enjoyed a great chat with the staff. Other customers even joined in, and we had Good chuckles all around. When you’re doing the museum circuit on the west end of town, this should definitely be top of your list for lunch. There are plenty of benches around the park nearby and there a few chairs provided at the MacTassos.

We saw this while planning for the trip, and knowing it was closed on Mondays, we made a plan to come by before we left town specifically for the gyros. And they sure didn’t disappoint! Delicious, succulent meat, generous portions, warm service - they even snuck in an extra baklava for us so we didn’t have to fight for it 5 stars, would definitely come back!

I was impressed by the gyros from the very first bite—the ingredients were perfectly cooked, and the seasoning was just the right finishing touch. Everything came together beautifully! At lunchtime, my fiance brought me a roll to try, and by the afternoon, I was dragging him back to get a full takeaway box! Everyone was thrilled to jump in for a photo when they saw my fiance snapping shots for me—absolutely love this place!

The best food I've had in my trip to Scotland!! the portions are really good and the food absolutely delicious, the price is super fair and the staff extremely friendly, couldn't recommend more!!

Such a nice meal and fantastic place to eat. An incredible spot for lunch or dinner. The ingredients are so fresh and high quality and the Gyros etc tastes absolutely phenomenal. Love it, delicious, and at an excellent low price too. Highly recommended. 10/10
